Ender at 9.8

So, Ender's brain is a whirling dervish, as my old English teacher used to say. He's inching his way on to ten years old, has been unceremoniously shipped to D.C., and has a long-standing love of most things electrical.
Some recent occaisions and quotes.

--After a meal at Cici's
Ender: That was glorious

--After keeping a baloon out of reach of his sister for several minutes.
Ender: And that is the advantage of being tall.

And recently I had that talk. You know the one. The one that dads both look forward to, as well as fear.

After learning about what 'it' was:
Ender: I had no idea.

After thinking about it for a bit:
Ender: My science has failed me.

It was great hearing him explain everything about the biology of things, and yet knowing absolutely nothing of the mechanics of things.
